AK30 Team Holm qualifies for the DMM
In a sunny and hot Saturday morning, AK30 Team Holm finished in first position to take one of the two available spots
for the DMM in Braunschweig in September.

with green reading, selecting the proper clubs depending
on the strategy, and overall keeping them relaxed and focus
throughout the round. This decision turned out to be very
effective, saving some key shots and relieving some of the
pressure of carrying the golf bag in a very hilly course, and in

Also, the fact that Holm arrived with the complete team
sent the message that we were there to win, putting a bit of
pressure on the other teams.
Julian Mehmel carded a brilliant score of 76, the second
best for the day, despite leaving some shots on the course,
proving how steady and consistent he can play.
Results
Team Holm finished in first place, with a clear victory of 15
shots ahead of the second team, Schlei GC. The result can-
not reflect the difficulty of the overall conditions, but Team
Holm managed to post good scores with the ultimate price
of the participation in the DMM, first time in the Holm men
AK30 team history.
The trend continues
We should also highlight that the AK30 Team is continuing
the remarkable achievement of winning two gold medals
in consecutive seasons. The first one came last year in the
final four played in Hittfeld against Arhensburg, and this
past May, the Team won at our home course in Holm in an
impressive fashion, after a comeback from the Foursomes
